baekxing doggy - you narrated your dog's thoughts for two and a half hours and I sat there and listened (g)

"I...am almost afraid to ask what happened."

"Oh good, you're awake! Just in time for the second pot of coffee—if you drink coffee." Yixing grinned, leaning over the back of the sofa, a soft smile slipping out at the other boy's obvious discomfort. Baekhyun groaned, rubbing at his eyes with both hands.

"What happened to the first pot?" Baekhyun sat up slowly, wincing, pressing his fingers against his temples as he did.

Yixing shrugged, scratching at the back of his head. "Eh, people drank it?"

There was half a second of confusion before Baekhyun blinked at Yixing, and Yixing blinked back. "We had coffee?" Baekhyun wondered aloud.

"It looked like you'd need some so I went and got some from the store. It's okay, Chanyeol already paid me back, even though it's just coffee."

"Right," Baekhyun said slowly. "So where's Chanyeol?"

"In the kitchen, I think. Or he was, last time I checked."

"Right," Baekhyun repeated. He opened his mouth—his tongue flickered against his teeth in thought. Yixing cocked his head, waiting. "Uh, is there a reason why you're still here?"

Yixing laughed. It had been Chanyeol's birthday last night, and Chanyeol was mostly a friend of a friend—he wasn't surprised that Chanyeol's roommate would be wondering why he was still here the morning after. "I thought you'd need help cleaning up," he said, eyes twinkling.

"Oh, yeah. Thanks," Baekhyun said. He didn't look nearly awake enough to process words. Yixing resisted the urge to pat him on the head. "Okay so what really happened last night."

"Well," Yixing said, glancing sideways as he mulled over his words. "You narrated your dog's thoughts for two and a half hours and I sat there and listened?"

Baekhyun groaned. "And?"

"And you were very fascinating," Yixing said. He paused, a smile quirking at the corner of his lips before he turned away to get a cup of coffee. "And I think your dog likes me."

the only thing that baekhyun can surmise when he takes king out for a walk the next day, is that he really /does/ like yixing.

"that's because i pat him in all the right places," yixing says from where he's crouched down next to his dog. king wags his tail happily, butting his nose into yixing's face.

"how do you know?" baekhyun says.

yixing looks up and grins. "because he told me!" he says. "well, through you."

king takes the opportunity to give yixing a doggy kiss on the mouth. baekhyun sighs and looks on somewhat mournfully.

he never thought he'd see the day where his neutered dog got more action than he did.

Baekhyun sees Yixing a few days later. The other boy is sitting at one of the counters at the school cafeteria, feet resting on the rung of the stool and elbows propped against the counter as he taps a pencil against his notebook. Baekhyun hesitates, before taking his tray and sliding onto the stool next to him.

"Hello!" he greets brightly. "Remember me?"

Yixing stalls for a moment before he turns slowly, blinking in confusion. The moment is long enough to drop Baekhyun's heart to the pit of his stomach, but then a slow smile stretches across Yixing's face and he tugs out earbuds that Baekhyun hadn't noticed.

"I thought I heard something," Yixing says, looping the cord of his earbuds around his neck. "No dog today?"

"Um." Baekhyun blinks. "I had classes..."

"Oh! Right!" Yixing laughs, scratching at the back of his head. "Of course. That makes sense."

"What're you working on?" Baekhyun nods at the composition notebook in front of Yixing, simultaneously shoving a chunk of rice into his mouth. "You write music?"

Yixing shrugs, hands coming to rest consciously on top of the notes. "It's a hobby," he says. He tilts his head when he talks. Baekhyun finds it kind of endearing. "I'm not very good at it yet."

"Do you sing them?" Baekhyun asks, only it comes out a garbled mess because his mouth is full. He scrunches up his face in annoyance as Yixing chuckles, before he swallows and tries again. "Do you sing your songs?"

Yixing hesitates, fingers playing with the corners of the pages. "Sometimes," he says. "But I'm not very good at that either." He chuckles again, before closing the notebook with a quiet thump.

"King misses you, by the way," Baekhyun says quickly. Yixing looks like he's about to leave, reaching down for his bag. Baekhyun, he realises with a start, doesn't really want him to leave. "You could come over sometime! Whenever you want. I know you're more Kris's friend than Chanyeol's friend or, uh, my friend, but our dog—"

"We're not friends?" A playful smile creeps onto Yixing's face as he interrupts him. "I know I said your dog likes me and I like him, but I like you too," he says, grabbing his bag from under the table. He slides his notebook inside and hops off the stool.

"I'll text you!" Yixing says, before turning to walk off.

"Wait!" Baekhyun interrupts. Yixing turns, slinging his bag over his shoulder and staring at him questioningly. "When did I give you my number?"

"You didn't," Yixing chuckles. "Your dog did."

kailu - kailu hold hands in winter (g)

Jongin shivered subconsciously, tucking his chin a little deeper into his scarf. The streetlights blinked in the darkness, winter wind chill against his hands. He shifted the take-out bags he was carrying from one hand to the other, glancing at the cars that drove past. He wished he hadn't forgotten his gloves.

"Are your hands cold?" Lu Han asked.

In the dark, Jongin swore that Lu Han was faintly glowing. He shook his head, before sheepishly nodding under Lu Han's questioning glance. In a moment of brazen stupidity, said, "why? Are you going to warm them up?"

Before Jongin had a chance to take back his words, Lu Han had grabbed the take-out bags from him, chuckling as he pulled off his own glove and grabbed Jongin's icy cold hand. "You are cold," Lu Han commented, handing Jongin the glove to put on his other hand.

Jongin looked at the glove, and then at their linked hands, feeling a flush crawl up his cheeks. "I can't put it on," he said. And then, "I don't need it."

Lu Han sighed and shoved it at him a little more insistently, the take-out boxes bouncing against his knee. Jongin ducked his head, muttering a thanks as he put the glove on his right hand, before slipping his left hand by his side. Lu Han took it without a word.

At least, he thought, as they returned to the dorm, his hands weren't cold anymore.

random other things from twitter that i don't remember are about what

"So," Lu Han says, holding a large box behind his back. Kris eyes it warily and arches an eyebrow.

"So?"

"Well since you were complaining that our photoshoots aren't as /cool/ as EXO-K's, we'd thought we'd give our greatest, best, coolest duizhang an early birthday present!" Yixing pipes in, sliding in beside Lu Han with a large grin on his face.

"My birthday isn't for months," Kris deadpans.

"Well, early, early birthday present then," Lu Han says.

Which is how Kris finds himself shirtless and wrapped in a string of Christmas lights, Minseok and Jongdae laughing his head off while Tao looks like he wants to laugh, but shutting up as soon as Kris glares at him. He really doesn't have a good explanation for it when Hyunkyun-hyung walks in.

-

When Lu Han quietly mentions a flaming sword one day, Kris quickly calls up /all/ their managers without a second thought.

Watching Lu Han and Yixing get scolded (and actually looking contrite for once) was almost worth the previous debacle.

At least until the next morning, when he realised that Yixing had switched the cleanser with the toothpaste. Again.

"Loooooooook duizhang, you look so handsome ^-^" Lu Han said, turning his laptop around so that the screen was facing Kris.

Kris stared very, very hard down at his book. He regretted asking what they had been looking at. Very, very much.

"Dui~zhang~" Yixing's voice came hurtling down the hall behind him, and before he even turned, he knew that it was not good.

It wasn't.

Kris snatched the phone out of Yixing's hands, ignoring the younger boy's mock-wounded expression, and after staring for a moment at the very much locked lock screen, settled for flipping the phone over and pulling out the battery.

"Hey, I was in the middle of a round of angry birds on there!" Lu Han protested. Kris arched an eyebrow at him.

"I think it's bedtime," Kris said. Lu Han and Yixing both turned to stare at the clock which read half past nine.

"Duizhang is being unreasonable," Zitao whined, leaning over Yixing's shoulders. Yixing elbowed him playfully in the stomach, and Zitao relocated himself to perch on the back of the couch.

Kris almost breathed a sigh of relief when he saw their manager walk through the doorway, but instantly felt the pit of his stomach drop when he realised he was massaging his temple. "Please control the children," he said to Kris. "And ipad privileges are revoked until I feel like you're behaving."

"of course, hyung," Kris said, glaring at Lu Han who was hiding behind his screen. He caught a glimpse of the ipad screen when their manager walked past.

"By the way, your book is upside down."

Kris waited until their manager was well out of earshot before standing up, glaring daggers at the three who were badly hiding their giggles. "I hate you all," he said very emphatically, leaving to seek solace in his roommate. "Next time, I'm leaving you in Korea."

Unfortunately, solace was not to be found anywhere in the dorm for Kris that night.

Being a leader was hard work.

This was a thought that Wu Yifan tended to come back to on a daily basis - no, strike that, an almost hourly basis. So when he was woken by a loud scream coming from Yixing and Lu Han's room... he didn't think too much of it.

"Yixing or Lu Han?" Jongdae asked, still curled up under the blankets with his phone.

Kris mused over the question for a moment. "Yixing," he decided. He was just reaching down for his pants to go investigate if Lu Han had dumped glitter down Yixing's shirt again when the door to their room burst open and Yixing came charging in with—

"Is that a rabbit?" Jongdae said, staring curiously at the door. "I thought hyung said we weren't allowed pets."

"Good morning," Kris says. He opts to put on his pants first. "Where's Lu Han?"

"Right here," Yixing says, thrusting the indignant rabbit into Kris's face and nearly tripping over Jongdae's bathrobe. The white ball of fluff twitches its nose.

"Um," Kris says. The rabbit's eyes seem oddly familiar.

"No but really hyung, why do you have a rabbit?"

"I told you, it's not a rabbit, it's Lu Han!" Yixing says. He sits down heavily on Kris's bed, cradling the rabbit in his hands.

Kris stares at the rabbit. The rabbit stares back at him. "That is a rabbit," he says.

Yixing glares at him. "It's also Lu Han," he says. "You know, your group member and your friend?"

Whatever Kris is about to say next is interrupted when his phone rings. "It's Joonmyun," he says, and answers the call.

"Oh my god what do I do I think Jongin just turned into a rabbit!?" is the first thing that greets him when he holds the phone next to his ear.

It's loud enough that Jongdae looks at him like he (or Joonmyun) has gone crazy, while Yixing gives him a very 'told you so' look. On one hand, Kris thinks as he holds the phone away from his ear and stares at the rabbit, this could all be an elaborate prank. A really elaborate prank. On the other...

"Just a sec," he says to Joonmyun. He can feel a headache coming on. He reaches over tentatively to pet the bunny - or Lu Han, rather - only to have the bunny nip at his fingers and then give him the sweetest bunny smile a bunny can smile. Which, considering bunnies, is almost terrifyingly sweet.

He meets Yixing's eyes. "I believe you."

-

An emergency meeting later, they come to the decision that it's safest if the Jongin the rabbit and Lu Han the rabbit are in the same place, and if that place is far, far away from EXO-K's clutches. Which is how Jongin and Lu Han end up making a joint nest under Lu Han's bed—the original plan had been to leave them on the bed, but after the third time Lu Han nudged Jongin off the edge, the plan was revised out of concern for Jongin's back.

"What are we going to tell the fans?" Joonmyun frets. "What if they're stuck as rabbits forever?"

"The rabbit version of Lu Han is cuter than the human version of Lu Han," Zitao points out as he teases Lu Han with a carrot. Kris keeps half an eye on him—it hadn't taken long before Lu Han had discovered that the fastest way to get that carrot was to attack Zitao's hand directly, and Kris didn't want another injury in the group just yet.

"But I miss the human version," Yixing says mournfully.

"Let's just tell them they turned into rabbits," Jongdae suggests. "By the time they figure out what we're trying to cover up, maybe they'll be back to normal?"

"...No one is going to believe that," Minseok says. "Can't we just say they got injured and had to go home for a bit?"

"Jongin was injured and was on stage, no one's going to believe that either," Kris points out. Talk about a PR nightmare. Meanwhile, the two rabbits are tumbling with each other in the fall corner, while Chanyeol and Baekhyun coo over how cute they are, phone cameras out and recording.

and then a month later Jongin has a litter of rabbit babies.

and then a week after that they turn human.

and then there are rabit babies.

Once upon a time there was a big bad wolf who lived in the forest. His name was Jongin, and truthfully, he wasn't very big at all. (He wasn't that /bad/ either, but he was working on it. It was just taking some time.)

One day, as the big bad wolf was running around the forest and preying on unwary travellers like wolves are supposed to do, he came upon a hapless deer wearing a red cap and carrying a basket full of food. But more importantly! The deer looked very delicious and tender as well!

So Jongin, being the big bad wolf he was, slowly crept up behind the unsuspecting deer. He was very, very quiet. Just as he was about to pounce, however, the deer turned around and--

He realised he really wanted to eat up the deer but in an entirely different way ;w; How was it possible for a deer to be so cute!!!! Jongin felt his heart explode out of his chest (somehow), as the deer's wide eyes stared deep into his soul, and Jongin felt instantly and deeply ashamed for all the bad deeds he had ever done and resolved in that instant to be a big good wolf instead (even if that had a lousy ring to it.)

It was, as some would call it, love at first sight.

"Do you need something?" the deer asked.

Think fast, Jongin-- "I'm from the forest neighbourhood committee!" He blurted out. "I'd like to buy you a drink~!"

And so, the hapless deer and the (not very) big (and not so) bad wolf dropped by a cafe nearby that was run by a unicorn and that the deer had read good reviews of. In the meantime, Sehun sneezed.

what jinyoung likes is the touch of danger, the element of the game - sunwoo greets him warmly, jinyoung bows and feigns indifference, ignores the way the touch of their palms is electric against his skin. lu han calls him sunbae and jinyoung murmurs hyung against the shell of his ear before shoving him against the mirror for a quick kiss, their lips meeting roughly and carelessly, pulling away with lips bruised and cheeks flushed
