I was going to claim a spot of some sorts and tell I'll reply to that when I finish reading, but I never quite got to that part of actually distracting myself from this even for such a short period of time as to post a single comment, so uh, have a full-blown one instead.
First - sdufhdjhg I read pirate and spazzed. Out. Loud. Not just brick-faced keysmashing in order to flail in the virtual reality, but actual flailing. Then I realized this fic is actually about air pirates and I think I died a little inside, I have such a huge, huge, ginormous thing for air pirates and practically everything that this AU contains oh. my. god.
I think I need to reread this right away, even though I think I just managed to dehydrate myself with the river I just cried. This... has possibly one of the most realistic endings ever, and it's so sad especially because of it. And ugh I think I need another packet of tissues soon. I'm sorry I'm making absolutely no sense or any actual commentary about the story so far, but I am weeping. :A:
So let me just make a brief list. 1. The whole Navy vs pirates is ALWAYS good. And will not ever be cliché. And this was too amazing to be one anyway oh dear. Also, Kyuhyun in uniform sounds lovely. 2. HENRY. For some reason, Qmi fics with the sidekick Henry always appeal to me, he seems to have that ability to read other people, and his and Zhou Mi's friendship is just something I want to cherish forever. ;__; <3 3. The whole "stop with the stereotypes, we're all people, both good and bad" theme. Haven't read good fics in a while with an actual saying. Well, I assume this was one of your themes? It seemed to pop up quite often, and I am so overjoyed I think I need a new cookie jar. 4. Sungmin's inn. Do I need to say more, Sungmin would make such a perfect inn keeper and OF COURSE he'd know both parties, hu hu hu. Though I'm curious to know how exactly did Sungmin get to know Mi so well that he could tell that he's not a bad person~ 5. The Awesomely Awkward Qmi. Kyuhyun's denial. Zhou Mi's little heart flutters. The alley. The rescue operation at the end. ;_______; <3 Why, why is my heart bleeding like this. 6. The way the story progressed, how Zhou Mi made decisions and seemed to grow up as he did so, especially the Spitfire and oh god, THE KOALA AISDJFHFSWEUH and how he became a captain and can I just squish this man forever. ;__; <3 7. ZHOU MI THE PIRATE IUDSKJKFJR. Did I mention this before. Also, how he dislikes wine but is totally fine with stronger beverages, maybe I should be worried about my sanity but I actually found that endearing. D: <3 8. Also SHINee makes kind of cute pirates, and and and I just utterly loved this fic. ;__; <3 9. The way you write and connect the parts that are from different POVs made me giddy at times, you are a genius. 10. Uh simply, I just kind of fell in love with this fic. ♥♥♥ Thank you. ;A;
